NEWSLETTER DECEMBER 2011

Hello and a warm greeting to everyone!
I say warm because it’s freezing cold outside.  We’ve had constant rain now for two days straight with temperatures dropping to the low 30’s at night.  Last year it snowed, so if it gets cold enough, which very well might happen, we may get some snow.
In spite of the cold we are glad and somewhat  relieved to have this much rain so early in the winter season.  Raul has been plowing the fields and planting oats every day.  It’s him against the storm clouds and if you know Raul, he is a driven man, he will stay on that tractor in spite of the threatening sky until the job is done.
We had an extremely productive fall season.  We were visited by quite a few international groups this from France, England, Japan and of course from our lovely guests nearby on the other side of the border.  As the holidays draw near we are winding down the season and preparing for the New Year ahead.  Right now we are taking reservations for the spring of 2012 so if your inclined to come ride in Baja’s open country, relax and recharge your battery drop us a line and we’ll set you up for a memorable visit to La Bellota.
I have one major announcement that I’d like to share with you.  Raul and I will be celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary on Saturday, Feb. 10th.  I will be sending out another note on that I wanted to give you all an early heads up on this.  We would love to have you celebrate this important date with us at the ranch!  There’s going to be barbacoa and lots of fun.  Mark it on your calendars and I will have more specifics for you after the holidays.
In closing, If you have any questions regarding our rides or pack trips please feel free to email or just to say hello.  We always want to hear from you!
From Rancho La Bellota to you, we wish you Happy Holidays and a Prosperous New Year!

Raul, Caroline, Ricky and Christine
